RidgeCrest Homes has a passion for people. It’s this passion that has made us one of the most respected home builders in Central Alabama. With 20 years of experience in the home building industry, RidgeCrest Homes has built hundreds of homes in multiple communities throughout Birmingham, Auburn, and Montgomery, making sure they are all covered with a home warranty from a company like so that the families living in those don’t have to worry about any repairs or damages in the future.

RidgeCrest Homes has grown every year because of our commitment to quality workmanship and enthusiasm for home building. Our homes are not only well-built, but they are affordable, making the dream of homeownership a reality. We set a high standard for ourselves because we want our homeowners to be proud and happy to own a RidgeCrest home.

RidgeCrest Homes builds custom traditional and craftsman style homes with family-friendly floor plans that range from 1,400 – 4,000 square feet. With our in-house designer, we give you the opportunity to choose from many design options like which ceramic tile or interior design to make it truly your home. Our homes are built for every lifestyle from the mid $100’s to $800’s. In addition to making our homes more affordable to purchase, we want to make them more affordable to live by building more energy efficient homes, that we manage to sell using the best lone tree commercial real estate that are experts on the market.

The president of RidgeCrest Homes, David Brady, has traveled numerous times as a missionary in Panama to support building projects for the less fortunate through the Panama Missions Organization. His efforts have led to many less-privileged people having a better opportunity in life and educated many to the values of Christianity.

Whether you buy one of our inventory homes or whether you want to start from the ground up our processes remain the same. Every home is built to a standard and every one that is involved with the home is held to a standard.

Our quality is very important to us. In addition to our strong workforce we have a:

  • Home Orientation Program. When the home is completed our superintendent will set an appointment to orient you to your new home. This covers introducing you to all the critical areas of your home such as electrical panels, water cutoffs, appliances, gas cutoffs, warranty procedures, lawn care, and heating and air systems. In addition, you will have the opportunity to walk your home, point out any areas of concerns and ask questions.
  • Closing Book Program. We have had many compliments on our closing book program. No one wants to buy a new home and then for the next week try and find all the warranty and manuals for your new home. We have solved this by taking all the manuals and placing them neatly in a binder for you at closing.
  • A Customer Service Representative who is assigned to you during your Warranty period. Don’t worry about who to call if you have a warranty issue after closing. At your closing, we will give you the forms and the business card of the CSR to whom will be your contact for warranty.

My wife and I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for a truly wonderful experience. As you know, we began our search for a home in early 2011. At this time, the housing market had plenty of new construction, resales, and foreclosures. We wanted to make the right investment for for our future, so we looked everywhere in Birmingham! We left no subdivision untapped. After seeing what was out there for the money we wanted to spend, we knew that buying our first home was going to come with some compromise. We also knew that the we did not want to sacrifice quality to save a buck. When we found a certain subdivision where RidgeCrest had a few of its models up for sale, we felt like we found the quality we were looking for in a home. They had several floor plans, each one appealing in different ways. One plan stood out as the best, but was already under contract. We decided to keep looking, but kept coming back to the same plan with the same builder. We finally met with Doug in early Fall to discuss a our desire to have RidgeCrest build our home. After this meeting, we had our minds made up. He put us at ease by discussing the quality that they put into their homes as well as the attention we would receive if we chose to move forward. We did not feel like we were being sold. We felt like we were being helped. We were able to make adjustments to the plan and still stay under budget. After we had a signed contract, it was time to break ground. This team really moved efficiently!!! Doug and his team made themselves available for many questions throughout the process. We were never left to wonder when we’d receive a response, as we were answered promptly and honestly. With weather conditions typically unfavorable in the winter months, we were skeptical in meeting our goal of being closed by the end of the year. We closed Dec 28th!!! We could not be happier with our new home!! With new construction, we were able to pick out all the finishes and make changes where necessary, all at great quality and price!! We have received numerous compliments (which never get old) from friends, family, and our new neighbors.
